A Special Dog and a Special Event

Some of our dogs such as Monkey attract a lot of attention at adoptions  Others, sadly, are often overlooked.

Ivy has been with us longer than any of our current group. Getting her name from the patch of ivy her foster picked the little stray out of, Ivy is a probably a mix of chihuahua, corgi, dachshund…your guess is as good as ours… and she is probably less than 2 years old.

She is warm brown in color and has the most soulful eyes. The problem is that she is kind of shy, and only slowly warms up to people. Once she does though, she is very loyal and loving.

Ivy lives with cats and seems to prefer small dogs over large. She would be a great companion to an older person or family without children.

Please help us get the word out about our little Ivy! Please stop by to say hello to her and all our other dogs Saturdays at Centinela Feed in Westchester. We’re there from 11:00 – 3:00.

Adopt me and you'll have a pal for life!

Also, don’t forget our fundraising event Friday June 10th at the Masonic Lodge in El Segundo featuring The Professor XS Mind Control Experiment, and delicious food from Salt Kitchen!

This will be a family friendly comedy show that will surely be fun for all! Tickets are only $20, available on-line or at the door. Hope to see you there!
