Another day….another adoption

We had a great week in Dawg Squad, with Crawford, Bubbles, and Nena going to their forever homes!

Crawford....happy in his forever home

And I got to spend another Saturday with Flurry! Flurry is a beautiful 7 month old white bull terrier. Since she has been quite a handful (to say the least!) at adoptions, we spoke to bull terrier rescues to learn more about the breed.

What we learned is that Flurry really needs to be in a home! Now! Bull terriers love people, and want to be with them at all times. Unfortunately, Flurry is being boarded in a kennel where she is unable to get the amount of attention and exercise that she needs. So, when she comes out for adoptions, she is more like a blizzard than a flurry…a very loving one though! And I know she has had at least some training—she is perfect on a leash. So, please pass the word—Flurry is going to need a very strong owner that has had experience with bully breeds, ideally with bull terriers, and she should probably be an only dog.

Next Saturday will be our last at the Sepulveda Blvd. Centinela Feed—they are moving and we are going with them! So, please stop by to meet Flurry and the rest of our Dawg Squad dogs this Saturday at the Sepulveda location. Then, beginning on Saturday, July 23rd, will be at the new location on Manchester and Lincoln Blvds., next to Ralph’s. Flurry and I hope to see you soon!
