Two, Two, Two Weeks in One

It’s been a busy couple of weeks at the Squad!
On Sunday, October 2nd, we all had a fabulous time at Bowling for Collars with great friends, great fun, great food, and fabulous prizes, raffles, and silent auction items!
But the week was made even better with Andy, our elderly black lab, finding his forever home! We understand that Andy has been having a fabulous time going everywhere with his new family and is really enjoying life–Yay Andy!!
Then our veggie puppies Cauliflower and Broccoli were adopted too!
As always, though, when dogs are adopted, there are always new dogs waiting to join the Squad! We are happy to welcome Sloan, Pilot, Sailor, Harmony, and Harper!
Sloan is a beautiful blue pitbull, about 5 months old, who was abandoned at our vet’s office. He is very sweet and plays nicely with other dogs.
Pilot and Sailor are 8 week old Rottie brothers, and we just got their sister too, so recently she doesn’t yet have a name! They are absolutely gorgeous!
Harper and Harmony are siblings we found at the Baldwin Park shelter. About 7 weeks old, they are beautifly marked black and white; maybe Spaniel, Italian Greyhound, Chihuaha, ??? Harmony is very active and full of mischief. Harper, who is missing his right rear foot but doesn’t know it and doesn’t care, is very sweet and quieter than his sister.
But this is all too much talk about puppies!
We have some fabulous adult dogs all patiently waiting for homes. Becky, Freddy, and Shaloha are all typical Rotties, full of personality! Dwayne is a beautiful Lousiana Catahoula Leopard Dog that looks kind of like a Rottie but without the Rottie attitude. He would be great for a family with lots of energy or someone looking for a running partner!
Then we have my personal favorites, Flurry and Bayou.
Flurry is a beautiful white bull terrior, less than a year old. She is very smart and active, but also very sweet. She will be the perfect dog for an experienced dog person.
Finally, Bayou is a beautifully marked pit mix. We don’t know how Bayou lost an eye, but it doesn’t seem to make any difference to her; she is quite calm and a well-mannered lady.

The Squad is going to take next Saturday off.  Many of us are going to Las Vegas! But if you can’t wait to meet one of our dogs, please give us a call or send us an email. We’ll be back at Centinela Feed, Saturday October 30th.
Hope to see you then!
