Zumba Blossoms in the Squad and Bayou Blossoms in her Foster Home

Meet Zumba!

Zumba was a victim of abuse; she was severely malnourished. Fortunately, Animal Control found out, and her “owner” was prosecuted.

Zumba had already put on about 20 pounds when we rescued her, so imagine how thin she must have been! Part of the Squad for about 2 weeks now, we are happy to report that she continues to gain weight and we are starting to see quite a lively personality!

And check out Bayou in her new foster home!

We are so thrilled that such wonderful folks agreed to give her a chance; after all, she had been in boarding for a long time and some dogs, like Bayou, don’t always display their unique charm and personality at adoption events.

Fostering is a great opportunity for people who, for whatever reason, cannot make a long-term committment or are unsure about adding a dog to their family and/or lifestyle. And you can see by the pictures what a difference this has made for Bayou who is now enjoying regular long runs with snuggles when she gets home!

Please drop by Centinela Feed on Lincoln Blvd., just South of Manchester,to meet Zumba, Bayou, and the rest of our Dawgs! We are there every Saturday from 11:00 – 3:00.
